Friends

Our friends Nic and Crystal had a baby boy exactly a month before we had Addie! Crystal and I have had much fun going on lunch dates, to the library, for walks and recently to music class at Gymboree. Baby Growl

For the last couple months Addelyn growls while she's babbling and we finally caught it on video. It is the funniest thing, she is quite a character!

Valentine's Day

It wouldn't feel right posting this week and not mentioning the enormous sadness we have felt for our friends who lost their baby girl this last week. We wish them peace beyond the sadness and hope beyond this time.

As I've written before, we know better than to ever take the health and life of our daughter for granted. This has been another reminder to continue to cherish each and every moment we are so fortunate to be given.

There She Is!

Addie's new favorite game is peek-a-boo, where she gets to do the 'boo' part. She loves to pull off the blanket and looks at us with anticipation and a big smile. Then we respond with "there she is!" Usually we get a chuckle afterwards but I think the nostalgia is starting wear off.
