our thanksgiving at black butte ranch

I think this goes down in the books as one of my most favorite Thanksgivings. We all stayed in a large home near my Grandpa, who lives in Sisters. We played in the snow, ate good food, played games and just enjoyed each other. So much to be thankful for.

We are so thankful our daughter belongs to this incredible charter school! The teachers and parents put on a reenactment of the first Thanksgiving. Everyone was dressed up in either pilgrim or Native American attire, families prepared and brought food from that time period, games were played and most definitely learning occurred! It is a amazing what a school can look like when you have a community of families (and teachers) devoted to their child's education!

thanksgiving celebration at preschool!

At PEP preschool, the parents get to choose only one party to help out with for the year and I got to help out at Liam's Thanksgiving feast! I treasure these days!
He started at my table where I got to help the kids make their leaf crowns.

That face! He melts my heart!

and of course a little iphone selfie with my boy!
