It was another beautiful winter day in California with nothing to do but go on a hike! So we hit Rockville Hills and it was even more gorgeous than our iphones could capture!

Our own personal Dora the Explorer with the map. She had a great time telling us which way to go.

After a little cabin fever it was time to get out! So we headed to Tahoe to take the kids tubing. Thanks to my Dad and Terri, we had a gift card to Sierra at Tahoe! It was perfect!

We got to spend part of our New Years Eve with good friends! Tim, Steph and Ellie were in California so we met them at the Sacramento Children's Museum and then for a little lunch!

Later that evening we made a yummy dinner and ate desserts from the Nugget but only Daddy and Addie made it till midnight!

I started this blog just before Kevin and I decided we were ready to start our family. Since we had ventured away from the place where we were both born and raised, my hope was to lessen the distance for family and friends with this blog. Overtime, it has also become a place for my children.
