A Recap of March

I can hardly believe that tomorrow is the last day of March. I know I haven't posted much this month, so here are some highlights from this third month in 2011.

On the 15th I turned 31. Sadly I have no pictures, but I can tell you good memories were made. Kevin and I went on a much needed hot date! The next night, we had a great dinner with our friends Michelle and Ryan. I also got to see family in Oregon, which included a shopping trip with my dad and dinner with my mom. I got many calls, cards and of course Facebook posts. (Also known as MyFace according to Kevin.) All in all, I am loved and I couldn't ask for anything more on my birthday.

Kevin started our garden this month. I love this about him.
Helping Daddie water the garden.
Bentley sunning and sniffing the freshly laid manure.
Happy St. Patty's Day!
My first try at making Mustard-Glazed Corned Beef & Cabbage

Addie and Daddie have a new tradition after bathtime.
Paawwcorn!!
And for a little DIY...with the inspiration from my friend Meg, I discovered Mod Podge and spruced up Addelyn's old white letters in her room. See Addie Ann's Nursery, for some before pictures.
And the new book shelf, didn't exactly happen in March, but I've been wanting to post this for a while now.
Addie's original crib had been recalled so Kevin took the old parts and recycled or "repurposed" them into a new piece of furniture!

To Oregon We Go

Addie and I headed up to Oregon to take care of Auntie Jan as she bravely endured her reconstructive surgery. We had a good time and are so proud of her and her speedy recovery. We love you so much!

Addie "nackin'" on the BEST applesauce in the world, made by my Auntie Jan!
I swear she secretly puts butter in it!
As we were hustlin' and bustlin' to get out the door, we noticed Addie thought it would be the perfect time to climb in her car seat and read a book!
Out to lunch with "Marmick" and Grammy.
After lunch, we let Auntie Jan rest a bit and headed out to feed the ducks!
Gotta say brought back many memories for my brother Brent and I, of feeding the ducks in Portland with Auntie Pam.
Thank you so much Brentie, Leeanne, Marek, and Tahoe for coming up to Eugene.
We love you!

Stoppin' for a kissin' break.
This wasn't even staged.
Fully accessorized for a Papa's Pizza Dinner.
And more accessorizing.
Next up Grammy and Dale get to come our way!

ABC...123

I've been working with Addelyn on her ABC's and counting, with books, crayons and the easel and even drawing on the bathtub. Yep, I'm also the crazy mom singing the ABC's to her daughter in the grocery store. Quietly though. I promise.

So I finally caught some video of Addie singing her ABC's and counting! I didn't realize I had such little amount of memory left on the card, so it cut her off towards the end, but nonetheless here is a version of Addie's ABC's and counting.

I know beyond a shadow of a doubt I'm biased, but she is too precious!
