We had a busy weekend which was good to get our mind semi-off of Addelyn's unpredictable arrival. We did some fishin' and relaxing on the boat, had friends over for a bar-b-q and some "Mexican" horseshoes, and ended the weekend with Allie's 2 year old birthday party!

Addie Ann's Nursery
I'm done teaching now and time is flying by. Our days have been filled with "to do's" and somehow we seem to keep adding to the list. This is just the beginning of parenthood, huh?!? For now, we are able to check off the nursery!
All of this preparation has made us more and more excited for the day she arrives, but we are trying to savor our quiet nights with dinner and a movie, sleeping in, and our care-free excursions on the boat. There is no denying though, that life has already changed. I'm constantly reminded of that by the little arm or leg that suddenly stretches out, the case of the hiccups coming from inside my tummy, and the increase in "practice" contractions. Our little girl is on the way and we can hardly wait!

Baby Shower!!!
I felt pretty special on this day! Thank you all for thinking so much of baby Addelyn and I. She is going to be one spoiled little girl...not only by the gifts she received, but by the love she already has.
I can't thank Meg, Steph and family enough for my wonderful shower! I'm blessed to have such good friends!
