Kevin and I have stayed at this hotel at least twice before and although it's nothing too fancy, it is in a great location for both the kids and I and it's close to where Kevin needs to be for work. The zoo and aquarium are within walking distance and the beach is right across the street. Every morning there's free breakfast accompanied by live Hawaiian music and a hula dancer. When we'd go downstairs for breakfast Addie would say, "Mom we are at a party!" There is also a restaurant with live music every night overlooking Waikiki beach! And we must not forget the pool!
However, sadly all of this didn't matter much after lunch on our second day. The stomach flu hit and began it's journey through our family.
One happy girl in the pool! The life jacket she is wearing is amazing! I wish we had known about it sooner! |
Liam enjoyed the pool too but he didn't love his floaty as much as me just holding him. |
Watching the hula dancer and contemplating joining in. |
Eating breakfast at the "party!" |
Having some dinner our first night in Hawaii at the hotel restaurant. |
Checking out the view of Diamond Head and to the right the ocean! |

Such a rough life having to go to Hawaii for work and take your family with you. ;-) Lucky lady!! Even if the stomach bug did hit at least you were puking in paradise and thank goodness that the plane ride wasn't ruined by it.
